In 2019, the Department of Agrochemistry and Soil Science celebrated its 100th anniversary. To mark this occasion, an international scientific conference titled “Soil Science and Agrochemistry: Historical Experience, Current Status, and Future Perspectives” was held from September 17 to 20. The conference featured contributions from 42 authors, totaling 52 materials, with 94 participants in total, 34 of whom attended in person. The program included 17 presentations and 7 reports. Additionally, 17 professional articles were submitted to the Bulletin of Lviv National Agrarian University and 18 conference materials were published.

Currently, the department employs 1 Doctor of Sciences (Professor), 6 PhDs (3 of whom hold the academic title of Associate Professor), 3 Senior Lecturers, 1 Senior Laboratory Assistant, and a Head of the Research Agrochemical Laboratory.
