The Department of Law trains specialists at the Bachelor’s level in specialty 081 Law.
Modes of study: full-time and part-time; funded through state scholarships (government budget) or on a contractual basis (financed by legal entities and individuals).
Language of instruction: Ukrainian.
The primary mission of the Department of Law is to organize the educational process for students of specialty 081 Law as well as other academic programs, in accordance with state educational standards and the modern requirements of the labor market facing Ukrainian higher education.
The Department’s work is grounded in the latest achievements of legal and pedagogical sciences. Innovative forms and methods of teaching are integrated into the learning process. Educational activities, including lectures, scientific seminars, round tables, and workshops, make use of modern educational and information technologies, supported by multimedia equipment.
Practitioners in the field of law—including judges, lawyers, notaries, and representatives of legal services in state and local government bodies—are actively involved in the educational process of specialty 081 Law. The Department also operates a Student Scientific Society “Pravoznavets” (Jurist), a Criminology Laboratory, and a Legal Clinic. Through the Legal Clinic, students of specialty 081 Law gain practical experience by providing free legal assistance to socially vulnerable groups of the population.
