An important role in the educational process is played by the faculty museums, operating at the Departments of Normal and Pathological Morphology and Forensic Veterinary Medicine, Surgery, Parasitology, and Ichthyopathology. The Faculty Council holds regular meetings to address issues related to improving various aspects of academic and administrative work. The Methodological Council (Chair – Prof. A.M. Tybinka) analyzes the progress of the educational process and assists the Dean’s Office in ensuring its quality.

The faculty also provides training of scientific personnel through postgraduate and doctoral programs offered by its departments.

In addition to academic, research, and educational activities, both students and staff are actively engaged in the social life of the faculty and the university. Many students pursue sports, with several alumni achieving national and international recognition: Pavlo Andriienko – member of the Ukrainian national athletics team, multiple winner and prize-winner of international and national competitions; Yaroslav Davyd – World Champion in kettlebell lifting; Oleksii Domanitskyi – Champion of Ukraine in freestyle wrestling.

Since May 2000, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has been a member of the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE).
