Preparation Courses 

Stepan Gzhytskyi National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnologies Lviv offers a wide variety of preparation courses for international students. 

The preparation courses of the Ukrainian language 

is actively working at the university. You will learn the Ukrainian language, history, basic theory of chemistry, biology and veterinary/medical terminology. After the graduation student will receive a certificate with marks and studied subjects.

Duration of the study – 10 months.

Start – mid September

Application date – June-March annually

Fee – 32000 UAH

Documents needed for application:

1. Passport (translated and notarized);
2. Educational document (translated and notarized);
3. Medical insurance;
4. Application form;
5. 6 photos 3x4. 

The preparation courses of the English language 

is actively working at the university. You will learn the English language (Grammar, phonetics, vocabulary, writing and reading), basic theory of chemistry, biology, anatomy and physiology and veterinary/medical terminology.

Duration of the study – 10 months.

Start – mid September

Application date – June-March annually

Fee – 32000 UAH

2. Educational document (translated and notarized);
3. Medical insurance;
4. Application form;

Graduates of the both preparation courses can enter Stepan Gzhytskyi National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnologies Lviv on a special basis.

Courses taught in English

 

Stepan Gzhytskyi National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnologies Lviv offers specialty "Veterinary Medicine" and "Pharmacy" taught in the English language. You will receive a degree MA, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and MA in "Pharmacy".

Application date: July 10^th – 24^th

Fee – 55000 UAH

Subjects for exam: English, Biology 

The procedure of Entrance:

1)    Sending scanned documents (passport translated into Ukrainian and notarized, Educational document translated into Ukrainian and notarized and agreement for data processing) via email to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.;

2)    The International office prepares Invitation;

3)    The applicant goes with the Invitation to an nearer Ukrainian Embassy to get a Visa;

4)    The applicant arrives in Ukraine by Visa;

5)    Submitting the documents to the Admissions office. 

IMPORTANT: the procedure of issuing the invitation, getting a Visa takes a long time (from 1 to 4 months), so start the procedure beforehand.
