The Department of Construction Technology and Organization was established in 1990 as the Department of Construction Engineering Support.
Since its foundation, the Department has been led by distinguished scholars: Doctor of Economics, Professor M. D. Lesechko; Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor B. H. Hnidets (1999–2006); PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor R. A. Shmyh (2006–2007); PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor A. V. Mazurak (2007–2016). Since 2016, the Department has been headed by PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Yu. Ye. Famuliak.
The foundation of the Department as an academic unit was laid by experienced specialists and educators of higher education.
