The highly qualified and experienced faculty of the Department of Horticulture and Vegetable Growing provides training in the art and science of cultivating:

• Fruit orchards – covering all stages from establishing nurseries for seedlings, grafting techniques, pruning, and crown shaping of fruit trees;
• Berry crops – including pineapple strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, blackcurrant, redcurrant, and gooseberry, which are in high demand in the market;
• Grapevines – with a focus on cultivation technologies adapted to the Western region of Ukraine;
• Ornamental plants and flowers – for landscape and park management, urban and rural greening, and private gardens;
• Vegetables and mushrooms – a wide variety of health-promoting crops cultivated in Ukraine, highly sought after by consumers and attractive for both open-field and greenhouse vegetable production businesses.
