The Department has prepared and published specialized bilingual dictionaries covering a wide range of fields, including agricultural mechanization, renewable energy, agronomy, plant protection, agricultural economics, financial management, agricultural construction and architecture, land management, cartography, land cadastre, international economic terminology, basic economic terms, and terminology in geodesy and photogrammetry. The development of professional terminology and the compilation of bilingual dictionaries remains highly relevant, and the Department continues to actively advance research in this area.

With Ukraine’s increasing integration into the global arena, new opportunities have emerged for the University and the Department of Foreign Languages, expanding professional contacts with foreign higher education institutions and agricultural associations in the UK, Germany, France, the USA, and Poland.

Access to foreign-language literature, international trips for faculty and students, and opportunities for communication with foreign partners in Ukraine all significantly enhance the conscious study of foreign languages.

Under these new circumstances, the Department identifies its primary mission as continuously improving curricula, refining teaching methodologies, and diversifying educational activities with innovative approaches.
